"The fast growing economy of Indonesia offers Aon Hewitt an important business opportunity as we continuously develop and affirm our presence throughout Southeast Asia. Aon Hewitt is built on a foundation of close partnerships and collaborative exchange with our clients. This new development demonstrates Aon Hewitt's commitment to expand our on-going presence in Indonesia and empower our clients with leading-edge human resource solutions," says Edouard Merette, CEO of Aon Hewitt Consulting in Asia Pacific.

Aon Hewitt already serves a number of key clients in South East Asia.  Its expert consultants help clients develop their human capital strategy and lead transformational programs to ensure that the organization is performance-driven and its HR practices strategically aligned to its business vision.

"This is an exciting time for me and my team in Indonesia," says Rina Sjoekri, Country Head for Aon Hewitt Consulting in Indonesia.  "Tremendous economic growth brings positive impact to the Indonesian business community but also challenges in talent talent management. As a trusted consulting partner, we help our clients develop solutions customized to specific industries, size and circumstances. With the establishment of a dedicated Indonesia office, we will be able to provide our clients and prospects ready access to our suite of value-based offerings with greater levels of presence and service across a range of industries."

A crucial component of the Aon Hewitt's Indonesia expansion agenda is the simultaneous launch of the Aon Hewitt Best Employers 2.0 – Indonesia 2013 Study. The study is being conducted in nine markets: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

"Our global research shows that employers need to actively engage their workforce in order to grow their profit levels and achieve a real competitive advantage through their people. Many organizations aspire to be best employers but do not know where to begin and where they stand against their competitors," says Gabriela Domicelj, Engagement Practice Leader for Aon Hewitt in Asia Pacific.

Ms. Domicelj adds, "Our 10 years of Best Employers studies in Asia, backed with engagement research of over 6,400 global organizations (including 2,300 in the region), supports the striking evidence: having a high level of Employee Engagement, a compelling Employer Brand, Effective Leadership and a High Performance culture translates into a committed and productive workforce that delivers stronger business results."

Aon Hewitt invites Indonesian organizations to participate in the Best Employers 2.0 - Indonesia 2013 Study on www.bestemployersasia.com and will partner with them throughout the study conduct and results delivery to identify action areas on their journey to engagement improvement and high performance.

Rick Payne, Talent & Rewards Practice leader for Asia Pacific, concluded, "Organizations around the world depend on their most important asset - their people - to improve business performance, and Indonesia is no exception.  Our range of Talent and Rewards consulting services enable organizations to confront complex business challenges head-on, measure and improve employee engagement and workforce performance and focus on critical HR issues that drive business results."
