Aon Hewitt’s People Risk® Framework

A People Risk is the possibility of a negative event occurring when an organization recruits, employs, or reorganizes. These negative events could be financial, reputational, or even physical. Research from global independent organizations shows that People Risk is largely ignored or misunderstood by HR and strategic-level planners. Aon Hewitt’s proactive, holistic approach to People Risk equips companies with the necessary tools to make informed decisions that address the long-term risks related to human resources management. Our People Risk Index measures recruitment, employment and reorganization risks across 138 cities around the world. The proprietary methodology focuses on 30 identified risk factors, grouped into five categories; demographics, government support, education, talent development and employment practices.
