EDINBURGH, 15 May 2008 – Aon Consulting, a leading pensions, benefits and HR consultancy firm, is pleased to promote Shahbaz Hamid as commercial relationship director for Scotland.

Shahbaz’s main focus will be to lead the commercial development of Aon Consulting’s Scottish offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. She will concentrate on growing existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities. A highly experienced client manager and actuary, Shahbaz will also continue to work in this capacity with her well-established, large clients.

Shahbaz, who will report to Brenda Capel, UK commercial director, has been with Aon Consulting for 12 years and has been promoted from her previous position as senior consultant and actuary.

Commenting on her appointment, Brenda Capel, UK commercial director at Aon Consulting, said: “We’re delighted to have Shahbaz in this new role.
