Aon Consulting Hires New Japanese Business Leader for U.S. Health & Benefits Practice

CHICAGO (June 26, 2008) - Aon Consulting Worldwide, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced that Mike Matsumoto has joined the New York office as senior vice president and Japanese business leader for the U.S. Health & Benefits practice. In this new position, he is responsible for developing health and benefits business with the U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese-based multinational organizations.

Matsumoto brings more than 30 years of experience to Aon Consulting. He joins Aon from Konica-Minolta Holdings USA where he was president and chief operating officer. During his tenure, he was responsible for various corporate services including directing the insurance consolidation and employee benefits cost reduction strategies for Konica-Minolta subsidiaries across the United States.

Matsumoto graduated from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan, with a degree in civil law. 

He joined Aon June 16.
