CHICAGO, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Consulting, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), announced today that Chuck Longiotti has joined the firm as regional director of the Central West region*.

As employers face challenges in controlling healthcare costs, funding retirement plans, and recruiting and retaining employees, Longiotti and his team will help clients find the best benefits, talent management, and rewards strategies and solutions to meet their needs. He will be responsible for the management of the Central West region, including client development, growth, and delivering distinctive client service.

Longiotti brings 27 years of experience in consulting and account management. He comes to Aon Consulting from Mercer where he was the leader for the western United States region and for Latin America. He also led Mercer's U.S. west retirement business.

Longiotti earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the Academy of Actuaries, and an enrolled actuary.

Longiotti will join Aon Nov. 10, and will be based in Irvine, Calif. He will report to Hayley.
