Aon Consulting Worldwide Appoints Industry Veteran to Health and Benefits Practice Leader

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 28, 2008 — Aon Consulting Worldwide, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced the appointment of Michael Hilton as senior vice president, Health and Benefits Practice Leader of the San Francisco office.

Hilton brings more than 14 years of professional experience to Aon Consulting and will oversee the Health and Benefits practice by managing existing clients and developing new client relationships.  Hilton's expertise lies in retirement and medical plans, as well as funding alternatives and plan financial management for clients.

Most recently, Hilton served as principal of Mercer's Health and Benefits practice, focusing on client management.  He was appointed the Zone actuary for Mercer's West Region, overseeing standards' compliance and the development of client-focused actuarial initiatives.  Previously, Hilton spent 12 years with Towers Perrin in the U.S. and Australia focusing on plan financial management. 

Hilton earned a bachelor's degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is an associate of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
