Jim Herbert to head Aon’s central team

BIRMINGHAM, 3 November 2008 - Aon UK has appointed Jim Herbert as regional director for the central region. He will be responsible for client acquisition and service, delivering business results and developing the local teams in Aon's Birmingham, Leicester and Manchester offices.

Jim joins from Heath Lambert, having previously worked for Marsh. In both companies he held a national role as development director. Bringing over 20 years' experience in insurance, he has a proven track record in achieving results for clients and boosting sales, with a deep understanding of the insurance markets.

Jim will report into Robert Brown, CEO of Aon's Corporate division.
