Boston (November 11, 2008) – Aon Consulting, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced the appointment of Sue Cann as local market leader for all services and John Donohue as local practice leader for the Health & Benefits practice.

Sue Cann will be responsible for strengthening Aon Consulting's comprehensive delivery of distinctive client value throughout New England and upstate New York.  She has been with Aon Consulting for more than 17 years, and prior to her new role, Cann was a member of Aon Consulting's Business Development team.  Before that, she was part of the Communication Practice. 

"Sue has been providing distinctive client value for a number of years, and we look forward to her building on this as local market leader," said Stephen McGivney, executive vice president and director of the Northeast region.  "Her experience and success positions her well to promote and expand Aon Consulting's presence in the marketplace."

Cann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bridgewater State College.  She is a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association, where she served as a member of the Board of Directors from 1998 to 2004.  Cann also is a member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum and the New England Employee Benefit Council.

John Donohue has been named Aon Consulting's Health & Benefits local practice leader for Boston.  In this role, Donohue will oversee this practice locally by managing existing clients and developing new client relationships.  Prior to joining Aon Consulting, Donohue was managing director of the Employee Benefit practice at The Bostonian Group.  Previous to that, he was vice president of the Health & Welfare practice at Sheppard Riley Coughlin, and assistant vice president of employee benefit services with Johnson & Higgins.

"John brings a wealth of experience to this role," said McGivney.  "He has a proven track record of serving clients of all sizes and industries, and I'm confident he will enhance our ability to provide distinctive client service to employers throughout Boston."

Donohue earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western New England College, and is a licensed Accident & Health Broker.  He is a member of the New England Employee Benefits Council and Northeast Human Resources Association.
