Chicago, December 2, 2013 – Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor of Aon plc (NYSE: AON), announces the appointment of Keith Moore as Chief Business Development Officer of Aon Benfield’s U.S. business, effective today.  Moore will report to Bryon Ehrhart, Chief Executive Officer of Aon Benfield Americas.
 
In his new role, Moore will lead all business development operations for Aon Benfield in the U.S. Over the last 20 years, his plans, actions and leadership have led teams to accomplish great results for clients and our firm.  The core growth and development disciplines he leads and practices have been a cornerstone of the company’s success. Moore joined Aon in 1992 and most recently served as an Executive Managing Director within the Aon Benfield U.S. Treaty team and as a member of Aon Benfield’s U.S. leadership team.  He has 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.  Prior to joining Aon he was an underwriter of casualty facultative business at General Re.
