Lima, April 25, 2014 – Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor of Aon plc (NYSE: AON), today announced the appointment of Luis José Pardo, a leader with 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance markets, as CEO of its business in Peru.  Luis José Pardo will report to Alejandro Galizia, CEO of Aon Benfield Latin America.
 
In this role, Luis José Pardo’s responsibilities will include driving new business growth in Peru, managing client teams, and creating and maintaining a robust business environment that is supportive to optimizing client results.

Luis José started his career as a loss adjuster, followed by seven years as a partner at a local insurance and reinsurance intermediary. He then occupied several senior executive positions at major Peruvian insurance companies including Pacifico Seguros and for the last eleven years at Rimac Seguros as a Senior Manager of the Reinsurance Department.  He has carried out specialized studies in insurance, reinsurance and risk management in Peru, Chile, Colombia, the U.S., Germany and U.K.
