Aon Consulting, the human capital and management consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), has named Charles J. Clark, a senior vice president with the firm, as the new Retirement practice leader for the Greater Philadelphia area. Mr. Clark will be based in Aon's Conshohocken office.

Mr. Clark was previously located in Aon's Somerset, N.J. office, where he served as a senior vice president with Aon's employee benefits consulting practice, specializing in retirement consulting. In his new role as the Retirement practice leader for the Greater Philadelphia area, Mr. Clark will proactively assist clients with all aspects of employee benefits and retirement planning and will focus on monitoring proposed changes in employee benefits policy.

Mr. Clark has over 25 years experience in the financing and design of both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. His experience and expertise have contributed to his professional involvement and recognition within the industry.

In 2004, Mr. Clark was appointed to the actuarial counseling position of the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans, a group that advises the US Secretary of Labor on Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) matters. Mr. Clark is also a member of the ERISA Industry Committee's (ERIC) subcommittee on Retirement Security and the Financial Executives International's (FEI) subcommittee on Employee Benefits Finance.

He is an associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, a member of the Pension Section of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He also serves as a member of Aon Consulting's Retirement Practice Council.

Mr. Clark graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry.

The Conshohocken office of Aon Consulting, located at Two Tower Bridge, 1 Fayette Street, serves clients throughout Greater Philadelphia, including companies in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware.
