PHOENIX, Dec. 10 – Aon Corporation today announced that Gerald (Jerry) Rochon, a professional with more than 25 years in the employee benefits business, has joined the office of Aon Risk Services in Phoenix, Arizona as vice president of Business Development.
Rochon joins Aon from Hilb Rogal and Hobbs (HRH), where he served as vice president of employee benefits. Prior to joining HRH in 2003, he worked at Schaefer-Smith-Ankeney for five years, and prior to that owned his own consulting practice for seven years.
“Our Arizona operations are growing rapidly as many organizations are looking for value in the solutions their broker brings to them,” said Karen Mildenhall, resident managing director of Aon Risk Insurance Services West. “Jerry understands business risk issues, and his ability to deliver solutions for clients makes him an excellent match for Aon and our prospective clients. Jerry’s extensive background has made him very successful within the retail, professional services, construction, and health care industries.”
Rochon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Assumption College. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Million Dollar Round Table, and serves as a member of advisory councils for several national and local health insurance carriers.
He joined Aon November 20.
