Aon and Manchester United Empower Results through Assessment, Preparation and Engagement
Joint Seminar to be held on July 12 in Bangkok

Bangkok, July 12, 2013 -  On the eve of Manchester United’s 2013 Tour presented by Aon in Asia, the two global partners, Aon plc (NYSE: AON) and Manchester United, will share best practices of high-performing organizations during a half-day Risk and People seminar. The 2013 Tour is kicking off in Bangkok with a match played against Singha All Star XI on July 13, followed by matches in Sydney, Yokohama, Osaka and Hong Kong until the end of July.

Aon and Manchester United will be joined by representatives of top local and multinational organizations in exchanges on risk and people assessment, preparation and engagement and how these help organizations empower results, minimize risks, and maximize opportunity. The Seminar will be held in Bangkok on July 12 at the Centara Grand Hotel.

The seminar will highlight key business issues that Aon helps clients with every day. From risk management to talent development, it will cover issues that are as important to Aon as they are to Manchester United. Attendees will get an intimate look at how the partnership between Aon and Manchester United allows for the mutual benefit of the two global businesses to empower results for clients and fans in every corner of the world the world.

  • Assessment, Preparation and Engagement to deliver results from a people perspective - A discussion on how award-winning organizations empower results by assessing people risks and sustainably engaging employees. Mr. Hester Chew, CEO of McThai that was adjudged the Best of the Best award this year among Aon Hewitt Best Employers in Thailand, will exchange views and innovative people practices in a discussion with Rick Payne, CEO South East Asia and Performance, Reward & Talent Practice Leader for Aon Hewitt in Asia Pacific
