LONDON (5 November, 2015) – Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc (NYSE: AON), today announces the appointment of Simon Jeffreys as Non-Executive Chairman of Aon UK Ltd.

Mr Jeffreys has been a Non-executive Director of the Aon UK Board since May 2009 and is the current Chairman of the Audit Committee.  He is a former Chief Operating Officer at the Welcome Trust as well as serving as Group Chief Administrative Officer of Fidelity Group.

Mr Jeffreys replaces Bruce Carnegie-Brown who was appointed in 2012.
