Chicago, July 7, 2014 – Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor of Aon plc (NYSE:AON), announces the appointment of Nick Ambriano as Head of its US Casualty Facultative team, effective today.

Ambriano began his career at Greater New York Mutual Insurance Company in 1996. He then joined Gerling America Insurance Company in 1997, before joining Aon in 1999 where he was appointed as a Senior Casualty Production Broker.  In 2008, Ambriano was promoted to Aon Managing Director / New York Casualty Branch Manager, and from 2010 he has been a member of the US Facultative Leadership Team.  

He is a graduate of St. Johns University with a BS in Finance.
