HAMBURG, 3 June 2008 – In its customer relations, Aon Jauch & Hübener sets great store by the highest possible degree of quality, fairness and transparency. As Germany’s market-leading industrial insurance and reinsurance broker andconsultant on employee benefit and compensation consulting, Aon Jauch and Hübener long ago introduced strict rules of conduct designed to protect clients’ interests. These rules are continuously monitored by the internal compliance organisation and now also by our ISO 9001-certified quality management system. TÜV Rheinland has inspected and certified this compliance organisation. Therefore, Aon Jauch & Hübener is setting standards as a company with an independently audited compliance organisation. On 3 June 2008 the certificate was officially presented to Ralph P. Liebke, CEO and Country Chairman of Aon Jauch & Hübener Holdings.

Ralph P. Liebke notes that “We view compliance as an integral component of the high-quality service we offer our clients. Our standards guarantee a high degree of transparency about our services. Our clients’ thoroughly positive response has encouraged us to continue pursuing this path.”

To ensure strict observance of both our own principles and all applicable legal requirements, our own compliance office was set up under the direct supervision of the CEO of Aon Jauch & Hübener Holdings. To guarantee the establishment and sustainability of – and compliance with – our principles and all applicable legal requirements, an ISO 9001-compliant quality management system has been established. In its capacity as an independent auditing enterprise, TÜV Rheinland has audited and certified Aon Jauch & Hübener’s compliance organisation. This means that the company has put in place the necessary organisational measures to guarantee compliance in an increasingly regulated environment. “Through the audit process, our qualified personnel convinced themselves that Aon Jauch & Hübener has implemented appropriate processes and structures in its compliance office which will assist the office in performing its remit systematically and efficiently. Aon Jauch & Hübener is the first industrial insurance and reinsurance broker and consultant on employee benefit and compensation consulting to operate a compliance office which has been independently certified by us”, said Wolfgang Rempe, TÜV Rheinland’s chief specialist in the fields of banking, insurance and financial services.

Aon Jauch & Hübener has a deeply rooted compliance culture and, because of our long tradition, our employees have a strong sense of responsibility. To sustain this tradition and adapt to new developments our staff receive continuous training in compliance-related issues. “Through our compliance organisation we have laid a very good foundation for greater transparency, thus ensuring that our services are always exclusively geared to our clients’ interests and that conflicts of interest can be avoided”, Liebke points out.
