LONDON, 30 May 2008 – Aon Risk Services, the UK’s largest risk consultancy and insurance broker, has appointed Ben Doveton as managing director of Aon Private Clients, the company’s flagship high net worth business.
Ben was previously finance director for Personal and Group Programmes (PGP), a major division of Aon Risk Services that focuses on individuals and SMEs. In addition to his time as finance director, Ben has broad management experience in a number of other industries, and has been involved with various strategic initiatives involving e-commerce and acquisitions in the private clients arena.

The move follows the appointment of Rod Mitchell as chairman of Aon Private Clients. He also takes on the role of broking director.
