As Worldwide Partner of the Ryder Cup, Aon hosted an Executive Forum for clients and business leaders at Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI where the tournament runs through Sept. 26. The Executive Forum brought together 30 top leaders to discuss the intersection of business and sport. We also showcased the Aon Story and our new visual identity.
The first discussion featured Sandy Cross, Chief People Officer, PGA of America and Margaret Heneghan, Deputy Chief People Officer, Aon Platforms. The pair talked about building a resilient workforce as companies reimagine working environments and their strategies when it comes to colleague wellbeing, recruitment, retention and diversity and inclusion in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“When I think of a resilient workforce, it’s a team of people who are galvanized around a mission and purpose,” said Cross.
Aon’s CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions, Lambros Lambrou, hosted a panel (pictured above) with Alison Taylor, Chief Customer Officer, American Airlines; Paul Azinger, Former U.S. Ryder Cup Captain, Golf Channel & NBC Lead Analyst and Katty Kay, BBC News Anchor and Contributor, Guest Host for Morning Joe. The discussion focused on how organizations can navigate new forms of volatility through innovation.
“Through Aon’s Work, Travel and Convene Coalition, we saw companies come together for the greater good and ultimately use that partnership as a form of strength to bring innovative ideas to the table,” said Lambrou.
