This year’s Inside P&C North America Conference featured insights from industry experts and market practitioners on a wide range of topics, with the overarching theme focusing on “The evolving (re)insurance landscape post-COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida.”
The conference addressed the most fundamental key strategic discussions that are taking place within boardrooms across the U.S. (re)insurance market.
Aon President Eric Andersen participated in a fireside chat with Amir Kumar, Inside P&C’s Director of Research. The two discussed a diverse range of topics during the 30-minute session, including the firm’s evolution, the future of the industry and Aon’s recently unveiled purpose and proposition.
“How do we bring retirement, investment, consulting, human capital – all the different things – to a client in a way that they want to be served through a client leader that actually understands their business?” Andersen said. “We effectively create a firm built around the client, in which your client executive has to be very intimate and knowledgeable about the client itself and what the client needs.”
