DUBLIN, 17 November 2023 – Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced that it has appointed Eduardo Dávila as senior advisor to Aon CEO Greg Case.

Dávila recently transitioned out of his role as CEO of EMEA to take this senior advisor position, having previously served as CEO of Iberia and the Middle East. In this role, reporting to Case, Dávila will advise on firm-wide priorities related to Aon’s 3x3 Plan to accelerate the firm’s Aon United strategy and expand the firm’s client relationships.

“I am grateful to Eduardo for agreeing to serve as an advisor as we go further, faster with our 3x3 Plan to deliver leading client and colleague experiences,” said Case. “Eduardo brings to this role deep client relationships and market knowledge in addition to a strong understanding of the steps we need to take as a firm to evolve to better serve client need.”

Dávila joined Aon in 2002 and, after various positions in several offices around Spain, moved to Lisbon in 2006 as Chief Executive Officer of Aon Portugal. In 2008, he joined the Executive Committee of Aon Iberia, combining his office in Portugal with the Regional Directorate of Galicia. He returned to Spain in 2010 as Director of Corporate Business, assuming leadership of all Aon business areas in Spain and Portugal, and in 2016, was also appointed CEO for Aon Middle East. In 2020, Dávila was named co-chair of Aon’s Global Inclusive Leadership Council. Before joining Aon, Dávila spent four years in the banking industry.
