Highlighting Achievements of Colleagues and the Firm

One big thing: During the third quarter of 2024, Aon and its colleagues were recognized for achievements around the globe for helping clients make better decisions.
As a firm:
- Aon won Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Insurance Business Australia Awards.
- Aon’s Impact Forecasting team won the climate risk initiative of the year and risk team of the year at the Insurance ERM Annual Awards 2024.
- At the Insurance Insider Honours Awards, Aon securities was shortlisted for Broking Innovation of the Year and ESG Initiative of the Year. The firm was highly commended for the Diversity and Inclusion award.
Among our colleagues:
- Julie Page, CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa, was named on the Elite Women in Reinsurance list by Insurance Business. The award recognizes leading women in reinsurance delivering a high impact, putting their team and organization first and empowering colleagues.
- Doug Hammond, CEO of NFP, was named Broker CEO of the Year at the Insurance Insider U.S. Honors awards which recognized his accomplishments in building a client-centered business and creating a culture of collaboration and innovation for more than 7,700 colleagues. Learn more.
- Lachlan Birrell, client manager, was named Young Broker of the Year by the National Insurance Brokers Association for his focus on client advocacy, professional growth and commitment to high standards and community involvement.
- Andrew Chudley, vice president and account executive for Commercial Risk Solutions, was named to Insurance Business Canada’s Rising Stars of 2024, which recognizes professionals who are shaping the industry’s future.
- Emma Clifton, treaty broker, was featured on the Reinsurance Business Rising Stars list, which highlights leading young professionals in the reinsurance sector.
- Two Aon colleagues, Greg Fox, partner and head of U.S. retirement income solutions, and Brandon Patterson, associate partner, were featured on CIO Magazine’s Knowledge Broker list. Knowledge brokers are strategic brokers who are skilled at matching CIOs with the best opportunities for investment mandates.
- Ethan Godlieb, cyber broker, was honored as the Oliver Rose British Insurance Brokers’ Association Young Broker of the Year for 2024. The award celebrates career progression, sector involvement and professional education.
- Aisleigh McGann, head of global law and compliance operations, was named on the “40 Under 40” in Legal Operations Management by legalops.com.
- Pensions and Investments named Karen Rode, senior partner, global head of private equity and infrastructure, to the Influential Women in Institutional Investing list. The outlet also named Emily Han, senior fixed income manager researcher, to the 2024 Rising Stars list.
- Daniel Serota, vice president of government and public affairs, was named to Crain’s 40 under 40 list for his leadership in building Aon’s relationships with the public sector and for key initiatives, including Aon’s U.S. apprenticeship program. See the full list here.
