CHICAGO, April 10, 2025 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the launch of its Profitable Growth Tool, a new benchmarking and advisory service that assists insurers to identify and develop best-in-class characteristics as they deliver to customers and shareholders.
The new diagnostic tool, developed by Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group, follows the launch of the firm’s Growth Decision Framework and analysis of more than 100 global re/insurers to identify key factors for consistent outperformance through market cycles.
The Profitable Growth Tool allows clients to self-assess across these key performance categories and provides actionable feedback to help them navigate market cycles and improve performance to achieve their desired objectives and market position.
Insurers rank themselves on a scale of one to five for seven pivotal performance categories. Their industry position is benchmarked within Aon’s Maturity Path Model with custom recommendations to drive better business decisions. Clients then have the option to meet with Aon experts to explore growth opportunities and threats, together establishing practical steps to deploy informed strategies that drive sustainable profitable growth and secure a competitive advantage.
The Profitable Growth Tool focuses on the seven common traits identified by Aon that outperform across the market cycle:
