DUBLIN, July 10, 2026 – Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, announced the appointment of Matt Lawrence to serve as digital broking leader for Human Capital. He will report to Michael Pedel, head of Global Benefits for Aon.

In his new role, Lawrence will lead innovation strategy across Aon’s Human Capital broking capabilities, using new technologies and predictive analytics to transform the commercial insurance placement process. He will work closely with carriers and clients to identify evolving needs and develop leading-edge solutions.

Lawrence has extensive experience across health and benefits, including broking, client advice, proposition development and corporate commercial strategy. Lawrence re-joins Aon from WTW, where he served as head of broking and broking strategy across Europe and APAC. Previously, Lawrence spent more than two decades at Aon where he held senior leadership positions across Global Broking and Health Solutions.
