DUBLIN, Nov. 4, 2026 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Tom DuCharme to serve as Global Financial Institutions Industry Leader, effective immediately, reporting to Petra Schmidt, Global Industry Leader for Aon.

In this role, DuCharme will bring together Aon’s capabilities and expertise to address the evolving needs of clients across the financial intuitions sector. He will deliver more value to clients, advance industry-specific solutions and help financial institutions navigate an increasingly complex risk and regulatory environment.

“Financial institutions are operating in an environment defined by rapid technological change, evolving regulation and increasingly interconnected risks,” said Schmidt. “Tom’s leadership will help us bring the best of Aon to our financial institutions clients and support them in making better decisions as they navigate an increasingly complex environment.”

DuCharme joined Aon in August 2025 as an Enterprise Client Leader aligned with financial institutions clients and brings to the role more than two decades of financial services experience. Prior to joining Aon, he held senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and Citi, working across North America, Europe and Asia.
