Aon Announced as Mission Partner of First Women’s Bank
September 22, 2021

The First Women’s Bank, a first-of-its-kind, purpose-driven bank with a mission to grow the economy and advance the role of women as founders and owners of businesses, announced Aon as a Mission Partner.  As a Mission Partner, Aon is providing tangible support to the bank through FDIC-insured Mission Deposits and lending programs that will help create accessible, affordable funding to bridge the gender gap in lending.

Located in Chicago, the bank is the only women-founded, women-owned and women-led commercial bank in the country with a strategic focus on serving the women’s economy. “We are proud to support this critical initiative,” said Christa Davies, Aon’s Chief Financial Officer. “Equity for all is a top priority for Aon. The bank’s work will bring vital resourcing to empower women in business and help blaze a trail for future generations of entrepreneurs and owners.”

As part of Aon’s commitment to shaping decisions for the better – to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world, the firm’s support of the bank helps to provide greater access to capital and address the underserved – two areas that align to our purpose and client needs we serve.
