Aon Helps Students Discover Future Careers with New Virtual Experience Programs
November 03, 2021

As part of our ongoing efforts to build a resilient workforce here at Aon, we recently launched new virtual experience programs for recent graduates and current students, providing insight into different career fields and opportunities with Aon.

With the way we work changing so much over the last two years, how we support people at the start of their careers has also changed. The Aon Apprentice Virtual Experience Program and Aon Undergraduate Virtual Experience Program enable us to expand our reach to students who may not have previously considered a job with Aon. Enrolling in one of these programs allows students to learn skills directly from Aon as well as get an inside look at the firm’s culture.

The programs are self-paced (generally taking no more than six hours), no experience is required and there’s no assessment at the end. It’s a way for students to discover if a career in professional services is right for them, while building practical skills and experience for their resumes and future job applications. After completing the program, students receive a certificate they can add to their resume and LinkedIn profile, helping them to demonstrate their commitment to learning about the workplace. As a virtual program, it is accessible globally.

“By creating these programs, we seek to unlock the potential of the ‘early careers’ talent pipeline, inspiring and developing the next generation of inclusive leaders,” said Claire Hollingsworth, Global Head of Early Careers Programs. “When we do this successfully, we’ll grow our culture of innovation and continuous improvement, ignite diversity of thought and inspire collaboration, connectivity and community to drive Aon’s growth.”
