LinkedIn recently released its Top Companies: City Edition for the greater Chicago area, naming Aon to the list. The Top Companies list recognizes the best workplaces to build a career in 10 cities throughout the United States. LinkedIn compiles this list based on its data and other public information.

The award measures seven pillars that, according to LinkedIn, have been shown to lead to career progression: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background.
