Aon has received recognition in several countries  for the firm’s initiatives to strengthen its inclusion and diversity and employee wellbeing efforts, as part of its commitment to being a united, inclusive and diverse team.

In Australia, Aon received the Insurance Business Magazine 5-Star Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Award. The award recognizes insurance companies with effective DE&I initiatives that help the industry support clients, attract diverse talent and move the world forward. Aon Netherlands was named the best employer in the insurance sector by MT/Sprout on its MT500 list. On an annual basis, the trade publication lists 500 companies with the best reputation in the Netherlands among managers, decision-makers and executives. Michiel van Meer, chief human resources officer for Aon Group Netherlands, said, “Aon feels responsible for its colleagues and therefore invests in their vitality. The United in Kindness campaign in the United Kingdom focused on improving colleague wellbeing with an immersive campaign that included a “Kindness Day” to recharge and a 21-day challenge where colleagues spread kindness to colleagues, the community and themselves. McCann Synergy, a PR firm won the Best Wellbeing Initiative at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence awards for bringing the Aon wellbeing strategy to life.
