Aon’s Meghan Parrilla, Vice President, Global Early Careers, and Lori Goltermann, CEO, Enterprise Clients, recently participated in a webinar hosted by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) featuring apprenticeship programs.
In the past year, Aon had 100 new apprentices join the firm in seven cities across the country, while working with nine local community colleges and six local non-profits to ensure the success of its apprenticeship program. Since Aon, Accenture and Zurich North America founded the Chicago Apprenticeship Network in 2017, it has expanded to more than 50 companies across 18 sectors. In April 2021, the Chicago Apprentice Network surpassed 1,000 apprenticeships in the Chicagoland area.
In this panel discussion, Aon joined speakers from AIG and Zurich as well as graduates of the program to share insight on how to establish a successful apprenticeship program and the benefits of these programs for colleagues, organizations and communities.
