In many parts of the world, June is Pride month - which focuses on the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. At Aon, we look forward to this annual event where we celebrate our colleagues and their impact on the LGBTQ+ community around the world.
Part of these celebrations includes promoting “allyship.” As a result, our Pride Business Resource Groups (BRGs) plan events that encourage all colleagues to participate, whether they are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not.
“Each day I am inspired by the work of our LGBT+ Aon colleagues and Allies who take meaningful actions to demonstrate that leading inclusively is at the core of our culture and integral to the way we operate our firm,” said Greg Case, Aon CEO. “Making inclusion and diversity a part of everything we do not only makes sense from a business perspective, but from a human one. Everyone should be able to bring their authentic self to the workplace.”
We are dedicated to supporting our LGBTQ+ colleagues and proud that our firm has been highlighted for this commitment, including the recognition of our CEO Greg Case as the number one ally on the INvolve OUTstanding LGBT+ Ally Executives list for 2020.
