Dive In is the insurance industry’s leading festival for diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and for the eighth year in a row, Aon is proud to be a Global Festival Partner. The focus for the 2022 festival, “Building Braver Cultures,” highlighted the need to create workplaces that allow people to feel safe, respected and free to express themselves.
This year’s festival included 150 events that took place across 14 countries. Business Resource Groups at Aon helped organize 32 local events alongside other global sponsors. Sessions from Aon included Rachel Fellowes, chief wellbeing officer, discussing “Wellness Initiatives in the Workplace;” Lance Emery, chief people officer, Enterprise Client Group and Aon Growth Ventures, speaking at “Parenting the Rainbow;” Ubaldo Fonseca, chief medical officer, speaking at “Inclusion, Diversity and Wellbeing – Correlations and Impacts” and more. When asked what she’d tell her younger self about change, Jennifer Bell, CEO, North America and co-chair of the Global Inclusive Leadership Council at Aon, said “Embracing change accelerates success. You cannot shy away from change. You have to embrace it and then have the courage to implement it. That’s how you create a stronger, braver workplace culture.”
