Talent at Aon: New Leaders in Asia Pacific to Help Clients Make Better Decisions

Aon recently announced three new leaders in the Asia Pacific region who will help clients navigate emerging volatility and make better decisions:

  • Qin Lu, head of greater China: In his role, Lu will oversee Aon’s business in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, bringing together the firm’s Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities and working across the region to deliver the breadth of Aon’s expertise and solutions to clients. Lu previously served as co-head of China and is retaining his position as CEO of Reinsurance Solutions, Greater China, at Aon. Read more in Insurance Business.
  • Vincent Banton, head of construction and infrastructure for Asia: Banton joins the construction and infrastructure leadership team and will work closely with local, regional and global teams to develop strategies and provide end-to-end services for clients in the region to help ensure a seamless transition from project development to commercial operations.   • Jeff Plein, chief operating officer for the Asia-Pacific region: In his role, Plein will work closely with regional and global teams to support growth and deliver a differentiated client experience, with responsibility for the design and execution of all aspects of the Asia-Pacific operating model. He’ll report to Mindy Simon, global chief operating officer, and Anne Corona, chief executive officer of Asia Pacific. Read more in Insurance News.
