Crain’s Chicago Business has named Nicole Presperin, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Aon’s New Ventures Group (NVG), to its notable LGBTQ executives list for the second year in a row. The list features self-identifying LGBTQ executives who have made an impact in advancing equality and change in the workplace.
While at Aon, Nicole has been a contributor to the firm’s Global Inclusive Leadership Council and its NVG counterpart, the Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council (DILC). Nicole and NVG’s DILC recently worked with Break Through Tech Chicago to offer science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) “Sprinternships” - unique micro-internships - for female, transgender and nonbinary students at the University of Illinois Chicago. Over three weeks this past spring, Aon’s “Sprinterns” worked with our Intellectual Property Solutions team to further develop Aon’s Intellectual Property Gender Diversity Solution, which offers our clients a unique view into their patent portfolios through the lens of diversity and inclusion.
Outside of Aon, Nicole is a member of the Board of Directors and co-chair of the I&D Board Task Force for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Read more in Crain’s Chicago Business.
