Aon recently announced the LPGA Tour winner of the Aon Risk Reward Challenge, a season-long competition that recognizes players who use information and insight to make better decisions on some of the most strategically challenging holes on Tour. Earlier in 2021, Aon announced the Aon Risk Reward Challenge winner on the PGA TOUR. On both Tours, the best decision maker receives an equal $1 million prize.

An Associated Press article discussed equity in golf, highlighting the Aon Risk Reward Challenge as providing equal opportunity and equal pay in golf sponsorships.

“There’s no difference between the PGA and the LPGA,” Aon president Eric Andersen said. “And we wanted to make a strong statement. There’s a lot of dialogue around gender equity in pro sports. This was a great opportunity to put our money where our mouth is.”
