What’s happening: The 2023 Masters Tournament came to a close this past weekend — the first major championship of the PGA TOUR season with Aon Ambassadors Tony Finau, Xander Schauffele and Jim “Bones” Mackay participating.  Schauffele, the sixth ranked golfer in the world, capped off a strong week with a top 10 finish.

  • Better Decisions on the Golf Course: Through partnerships with the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour and the Ryder Cup, Aon brings the parallels between making better decisions in business and golf to life. On the PGA TOUR and the LPGA Tour, Aon sponsors the Aon Risk Reward Challenge, a unique, season-long competition that highlights golf’s best strategic decisions makers. The Challenge takes the best two scores from every participating event a player competes in throughout the season. The players who best navigate the challenges, measured by the lowest average score to par on these holes, will win the Aon Trophy and take home an equal prize on each Tour. The 2023 competition has already begun.
  • The Aon Risk Reward Challenge was recently shortlisted for the 44th annual People's Telly Awards in the branded content category. The Awards recognize excellence in video and television across all screens and celebrate brands that use creativity and ingenuity to “break through the static.” Last year, Aon took home three Telly Awards for the firm’s Ryder Cup content. Voting for this year’s award is open here.
  • Sports Business Journal recently highlighted how Aon is continuing to innovate with partners at the PGA TOUR and NBC Sports with the latest real-time broadcast integration of data and analytics at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event. Read more here.
  • Aon also recently collaborated with the LPGA Tour to help identify players with the highest potential for development and success by using key insights from Aon’s Adaptive Employee Personality Test (ADEPT-15). Read more in Fortune.

According to Jennifer Bell, CEO of Aon North America, “I’m proud that Aon has served as an example of how companies can effectively build equitable partnership programs, and I want us to continue pushing the boundaries this way. I hope the success of the Aon Risk Reward Challenge inspires and influences others to do the same.” Read more in Golf Digest.
