How Aon Colleagues are Supporting Communities
February 27, 2024

193 words…about a minute read

What’s happening: Aon and its colleagues are committed to supporting underserved communities. Here’s how our colleagues are making a difference:

  • In Vietnam, colleagues from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City raised over $3,500 by hosting a charity auction, organizing a flea market, setting up donation boxes and more. The funds raised were matched with a contribution from Aon and will help buy equipment for the States Social Protection Center 3; donate funds to the Youth Village, which supports disadvantaged elderly, orphans and children; and sponsor a year of school tuition for three children.
  • More than 100 Aon colleagues “stepped up” to climb 80 flights of stairs at the Aon Center in Chicago to raise funds for Lurie Children’s Hospital. From the event and other fundraising activities, Aon raised more than $15,000 to support patients and families at Lurie’s.
  • To spread cheer over the holiday season, the UK Pride Alliance business resource group delivered gifts to Opening Doors members across London. Opening Doors is the largest UK charity that provides events, information and support services to LGBTQ+ people over 50.
