One big thing: Justin Rose received the Nicklaus-Jacklin Award presented by Aon following the conclusion of the 44th Ryder Cup, which took place in Rome, Italy, from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, 2023.
- The award is inspired by the historic 1969 Concession when Jack Nicklaus conceded a two-foot putt to Tony Jacklin for a halved match resulting in the first tie in Ryder Cup history. The Award honors two icons in the game and is given to the player who best embodies the true spirit of the Ryder Cup – the individual who looks beyond oneself and makes better decisions both on and off the course.
- Forbes chronicled the history of the famous concession. Read the full article here.
- Bloomberg and Aon published insights on making better decisions under pressure, both in business and on the golf course.
- Read more about the tournament and award in Daily Mail, Essentially Sports, Forbes, Golf News, Sportskeeda, The Athletic and The Global Herald.
