This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrated the achievements of women while challenging all of us to #BreakTheBias.

Aon colleagues took the time to honor IWD and gender equality throughout the month of March. A few highlights include:

• Tracie Thompson, Aon’s head of Commercial Risk solutions in EMEA, participated in an interview series published by information technology company Infosys to commemorate IWD 2022. The series, “I Am the Future,” highlighted 27 influential women in business. You can view the full interview here.
   
• Catherine Mulligan, managing director, Reinsurance Solutions at Aon, shared her perspective on what it is like to be a woman in the re/insurance industry in her LinkedIn article, “Calling All Allies, #BreakTheBias.”
   
• Liz Henderson, senior managing director, Reinsurance Solutions at Aon, was featured in an article published by Silicon Republic, “IWD 2022: ‘If you can see it, you can be it,’ says these women in STEM”. She explained the growth in gender diversity she experienced throughout her career.
   
• Aon’s Business Resource Groups (BRGs) also hosted several events honoring women and celebrating diversity. Colleagues gathered to participate in IWD sessions, listen to presentations and learn more about the importance of the representation of women in the workplace and society overall.
