One big thing: Around the world, Aon and its colleagues have been recognized for their achievements in helping clients address their biggest needs, from navigating new forms of volatility to building a more resilient workforce. In the fourth quarter of 2023, we received a wide variety of rewards and recognitions, including:
As a Firm:
- Aon was named one of London’s Leading Broking Houses in Gracechurch’s London's Leading Brokers 2023 report which showcases leading brands in the commercial insurance sector. The firm was also recognized as the top broker in casualty, cyber, professional indemnity and financial lines, and reinsurance. See the full report here.
- The Financial Times ranked Aon in the top 100 of the FT-Statista Diversity Leaders ranking, which evaluated 850 companies across various sectors and surveyed over 100,000 colleagues and peers from 16 European countries.
- At Link's LGBTQ+ Insurance Network 10th Anniversary Awards Gala, Aon was recognized for Outstanding LGBTQ+ Policies and Practices.
- Insurance Age named Aon a Top 100 UK Brokers 2023. The list serves as a guide to the top brokers in the commercial and personal space and lists organizations in groups based on their UK general insurance revenue.
- Aon was recognized by the Pro Bono Institute for the firm’s work in the Justice in Action project. This project brought together more than 60 legal departments and built a community across industries, geographies and cultures through pro bono work.

- Niharika Ghadiyar, vice president and lead of L&D and talent management, was recognized as a Top Talent Empowerment Leader at the Employee Empowerment Conclave and Awards 2023.
- Thea Baird, vice president for Commercial Risk Solutions, won the Emerging Leader category in the Insurance Institute of Canada’s 2023 National Leadership Awards. Read more about Baird’s work ethic here.
- Amanda Lyons, executive managing director for Reinsurance Solutions, was named one of Business Insurance’s 2023 Women to Watch. This annual list recognizes women leaders doing outstanding work in risk management and commercial insurance.
- Sophie Fisher, associate consultant for Wealth Solutions, was named Investment Trainee of the Year in the Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards. Georgina Gayles, consultant for Wealth Solutions, was highly commended in the Actuarial/Advisory Trainee of the Year category.
- Joanna Sharples, partner for Wealth Solutions, was named Investment Manager of the Year at the Women in Pensions Awards 2023, hosted by Professional Pensions.
