LONDON – Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, today announced the appointment of Neville McKay to its Retirement Consulting team.

Neville McKay joins Hewitt from Towers Watson where he was responsible for advising some of the UK's largest companies on their defined benefit schemes, in particular working with trustees to de-risk and to plan their long term funding strategy. Prior to this, Neville was head of the European Pension Advisory Group at Morgan Stanley, and worked for 16 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including a two year US assignment.

Neville, who will be based in London, will work across Hewitt's business lines, providing high-level advice to a range of major companies. As part of this role, Neville will advise on de-risking programmes and strategies, making use of his extensive experience in longevity solutions and liability reduction exercises. Neville also has particular expertise in making clear the links between assets and liabilities and will work across Hewitt's business units in offering integrated investment and actuarial advice.
