The Royal British Legion Pension Fund Appoints Hewitt Associates for Investment Advice

LONDON – Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, announced today that it has been appointed by the trustees of the Royal British Legion Staff Pension Fund to provide investment consultancy services.

The Royal British Legion is a non-profit organisation that protects the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the armed forces.  The pension fund currently has 1,400 members, with funds under management of around £70 million.

Hewitt will be providing the fund with investment consulting services. This will include reviews of the fund's investment strategy, fund manager monitoring and reporting, proactive identification of appropriate investment opportunities and training to ensure that trustees are comfortable when making investment decisions.
