LONDON – 20 June 2011 – Aon Hewitt, the global human resource consulting and outsourcing business of Aon Corporation (NYSE:AON), has announced that John Harrison has joined its UK Investment team as a principal consultant. John will provide investment consulting advice to a range of clients in both the public and private sectors.

John Harrison joins Aon Hewitt with 30 years of experience in the field of institutional fund management, including 24 years with UBS Global Asset Management (formerly Phillips & Drew). John was latterly UK Chief Investment Officer, chairing the UK Investment Committee and overseeing the delivery to UK clients of all the firm's investment capabilities. He was also Head of UK Institutional Advisory Solutions, while his previous senior business management roles included being Head of the Multi-Asset Team and Head of UK Client Relationships.

John was the lead client relationship contact at UBS Global Asset Management for some of the firm's most complex pension fund mandates in both the private and public sectors. After leaving UBS, John was appointed as Independent Investment Advisor to the Devon County Council Pension Fund in April 2010, a role he is retaining separately from his role at Aon Hewitt.
