Aon appoints UK Head of Client Services to its reinsurance business


LONDON (2 November 2016) – Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor of Aon plc (NYSE:AON), has appointed Leonora Siccardi as UK Head of Client Services.

Based in London and reporting to Maggie Westdale, Aon Benfield’s Chief Financial Officer, Leonora will oversee the strategic direction of the firm’s UK claims and client services function to ensure clients receive an outstanding service, both on a day-to-day basis and also post catastrophic events. She has been promoted internally from her role as Head of Claims Advocacy at Aon Risk Solutions. For the past two years, Leonora has also been responsible for the development and delivery of the claims strategy for Aon’s Global Broking Centre in London. 

Leonora joined Aon in 2006 and has held several positions across the firm including Claims Manager for the Southern European Group Division, Team Leader for the Financial & Professional Services Claims, and Head of the Facultative EMEA Claims Division.  She previously worked for Munich Re in Italy and Willis in London. Leonora graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and has a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the Bocconi Business School in Milan. She speaks fluent English, French and Italian.
