LONDON (16 March, 2018) – Aon in the UK (NYSE:AON) has confirmed today that is one of the latest signatories to HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter, which now has been signed by over 200 firms in the UK, covering over 650,000 financial services employees in the UK.
By signing the charter Aon has pledged to promote gender diversity by:
- having one member of our senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion;
- setting internal targets for gender diversity in our senior management;
- publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website;
- having an intention to ensure the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity.
This is in addition to other initiatives in place at Aon, to drive greater gender diversity across all levels within the firm, including programmes designed to support, develop and promote female colleagues at all levels.
