London, October 10, 2019 – The Reinsurance Solutions business of Aon plc (NYSE:AON), a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, today announces that Leonora Siccardi has been appointed Global Head of Operations and Client Services for Reinsurance Solutions with immediate effect.

Leonora will closely partner with Mitch Balter who was recently announced as Aon Business Services (ABS) Reinsurance Service Delivery Leader. Both Leonora and Mitch will work together to build the future of Reinsurance Solutions’ global operations. Leonora will drive and oversee the firm’s operational agenda and change programme to improve and align the global business’ models in support of its growth strategy. She will lead the Operations and Client Services Advocacy functions globally to ensure the firm leverages its capabilities, proactively responds to clients’ needs and continues to enhance its highly valued claims and operations proposition, whilst driving consistent best practice.

Kevin Crossley has been appointed Head of Client Services for the APAC region. Kevin has worked at the firm for more than 33 years, undertaking important leadership roles including, most recently, Head of Client Services Development for APAC. In his new role, Kevin will be focused on further developing the advocacy proposition in the region and will work closely with the wider regional executive leadership team.

At the same time, Orla Checksfield, Head of UK Operations for Reinsurance Solutions, will expand her responsibilities to become Head of UK Operations & Governance, reporting to Leonora Siccardi. Orla’s appointment will support the firm’s continuing focus on identifying and delivering best governance practice across its business. Orla will also Chair the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Committee, which provides a link to wider Aon UK Limited operations and the pursuit of the firm’s Aon United objectives.
