Aon Steps Up Personal Insurance Offering With New Quote Facility For Corporate & Affinity Clients
Over 100,000 employees to benefit from a leading broker's insurance service

LONDON, 19 April 2006 – Aon Limited, a leading insurance broker and risk management consultant, has stepped up its home, motor and travel offering with the launch of an online and telephone quote facility for employees of its corporate clients and affinity partners. Aon Select, which deals with personal insurance facilities for its corporate partners, is already primed to assist over 100,000 individuals who are being granted access to the service by their employers as a staff or member benefit.

Aon Select will provide a unique service to employees by working with over 30 insurers to search for the best insurance rates on home, motor and travel plus commercial vehicle policies. The panel of UK insurers compromises major composite and specialist insurers to cater for a range of personal risks.

The quote facility can be accessed online at www.aonquote.co.uk or via a customer service team and has been designed to alleviate the legwork of finding insurance for employees with hectic lifestyles. A customer only needs to give their personal data and policy requirements once to enable Aon Select to ‘shop around’ through a panel of insurers and find the best quote for the required insurance cover.

Aon’s clients and affinity partners can offer access to www.aonquote.co.uk as part of an employee or member’s benefit package without any additional cost to the business.

Colin Biggs, director of Aon Select, said: “Our clients are taking note of this offering as they believe that ‘if it’s good enough for our business, it’s good enough for our employees or members’. By offering Aon Select as an a benefit, it shows that employers care and want their staff to benefit from the same high level of service from Aon as the business does.”

Mr Biggs continued: “We’ve all been driven up the wall with endless phone calls to different companies when trying to sort out our personal insurance. Through Aon Select employees and members can go online, or are put straight through to a customer service team dedicated to their company or association, to immediately be given the best quote for their insurance requirements.”
