Aon Consulting, the human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), announced today that Peter Russell, a senior vice president, has been appointed to the role of key account management director for its southeast region (1).

Russell has over 22 years of experience in the field of human resources and employee benefits. Joining Aon in 1996, he has led business development efforts for the Baltimore and Bethesda offices, as well as account management for select clients. He has worked with employers representing most industries, as well as the public sector and not-for-profit organizations. In his new role, Russell will be responsible for fostering large account management business development efforts in each of Aon Consulting's southeast marketplaces, as well as managing the regional key account management practice. Russell is based out of Aon Consulting's Baltimore office.

Russell received a bachelor of arts degree in international political economy from the Colorado College, and a masters in business administration from Loyola College in Maryland.
