LONDON, 1 October, 2008 - Aon Consulting, one of the UK's leading pension consulting, administration and employee benefits firms, has appointed two new directors to the pensions administration team due to sustained growth and strong expansion opportunities. Together the pair bring nearly 50 years of experience to the pensions administration leadership team.
Kevin Smith has been appointed transition director, while Paul Hartfield has taken up the post of client service director. Both are tasked with further strengthening the pensions administration operational leadership team in response to growth prospects.
Kevin will be responsible for the ownership of the operational and transition strategy for Aon Consulting's proposition to larger schemes, as well as assisting the leadership team with the implementation of key business objectives.
Kevin brings nearly 30 years pension administration experience, including broad and strategic operational experience. He previously worked for Capita Hartshead.
Paul is tasked with running the Farnborough pensions administration operation that spans 130 staff and 100 clients, as well as further bolstering the operational leadership team along with Kevin. He joins Aon Consulting from Xafinity Paymaster, where he was scheme member services director.
