Heath to lead Aon’s Risk Control team for UK corporates

LONDON, 3 March 2009  Aon Global Risk Consulting has appointed Graham Heath as director of Risk Control UK. In this role, Graham will help UK corporate clients to improve their business performance through effective management of their risks.

Graham will support the firm’s retail broking teams in promoting and delivering risk management services as a key component of Aon’s overall proposition for clients.

Bringing over 20 years of management experience within the insurance industry, Graham was previously managing director of his own company, Calculated Risks Limited. Prior to that, he was also responsible for setting up Norwich Union Risk Services.

Graham is a member of Institute of Risk Management and has the NEBOSH General Certificate.

Graham commented: “There is a tremendous amount of uncertainty in the business world, with many sectors facing massive challenges. The fundamental risk levels in our economy are rising rapidly and the cost of this volatility can be significant. The need for effective management of risk has never been greater.”

Neil Harrison, deputy group managing director at Aon Global Risk Consulting, added: “Against the backdrop of the global economy and the uncertainty within the insurance market, these services have never been more important, and we are delighted to add Graham’s experience and leadership to our team.”

Aon Global Risk Consulting has over 500 risk control and engineering professionals in 30 countries to support clients in the property and casualty risk control arena, with solutions including underwriting surveys, risk improvement strategies, health and safety, ergonomics and claims defensibility.
