DALLAS, May 5, 2010 -- Aon Consulting, the global benefits and human capital consulting business of Aon Corporation, today announced Mark Stadler has joined the firm as senior vice president and business development leader for the Central West region.*

Stadler brings to Aon more than 30 years of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for professional services firms. As a business development leader for Aon Consulting, he will be responsible for facilitating growth, innovation and distinctive client service across practices in the Central West region.

Most recently, Stadler served as the senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for American Enterprise Group, in Des Moines, Iowa. As a member of the executive leadership team for the firm, Stadler provided strategic direction and oversight of all sales, marketing, branding and product distribution activities, new product development, e-commerce and other direct-to-consumer activities. 

“Mark brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the business development team, and he will be instrumental in helping us expand our presence in key markets throughout the Central West region,” said Chris Michalak, leader of Client Relationship Management and Business Development for Aon Consulting.

Stadler earned a Bachelor of Science in business marketing and finance at Loyola University of Los Angeles. He is a current member of the March of Dimes Board in Des Moines and has served on numerous boards for charitable organizations such as the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, March of Dimes in Chicago, Commercial Club of Chicago, YWCA of Chicago and the Chicago Arts in Business Council.

He joined Aon May 3 and is based in Dallas.
